The Southampton Titanic Group Anniversary Meal
at the NV Restaurant, Southampton


Prior to our meal we will gather at 6.15pm at the Holyrood Church for a glass of sparking wine or orange juice.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Southampton will arrive at 6:30pm.
We then walk across the road to the restaurant.
The restaurant would like us to take our seats at 7pm.
The event will be filmed.

First Course

Haddock and bacon tart with lemon & chives hollandaise
French onion soup with Gruyère croûtons
Baked breaded Brie with Port and cranberry sauce
Chicken liver pâté pot with warm toast and Cumberland sauce
Sautéed creamy garlic mushrooms
served in crisp pastry basket


Main Course

Roasted sirloin of English beef with home made Yorkshire pudding and Madeira jus
Pan fried breaded chicken breast with garlic and parsley butter
Pepper-crusted loin of pork with grain mustard and cider sauce
Grilled fillets of black dory with lemon, basil & olive crumb and warm red pepper coulis
Leek and potato gratin with chunky ratatouille and Parmesan


All main courses are served with seasonal vegetables and potato of the day


Desserts

Lemon tart with berry compote
White & dark chocolate marbled cheesecake
Crème brûlée with fresh vanilla bean
Assortment of ice cream and sorbet in brandy snap basket
Selection of cheeses with grapes, celery and biscuits
