OUR FOURTH DAY IN SOUTHAMPTON

18th April

St. Mary’s Church, St. Mary’s Street, Southampton.

Time: 11.45am

This annual commemorative service, led by the Reverend Dr. Julian Davies, with the Mayor of Southampton in attendance, remembered the 549 crew from Southampton who perished in the tragedy.

The service included readings, music and singing; all of which focus on the impact the tragedy had on the City.

St Mary’s is Southampton’s mother church and this is where, on the 20 April 1912, the first Titanic Commemorative service was held.
