I left Southampton with mixed emotions. A complete emotional spectrum from only three days in the City from whence RMS Titanic sailed 97 years ago. People from many parts of the world came to Southampton to participate in a weekend of events. I was one of the many and no website can really give the full story of the time we were there. Unveilings, Lectures, Church Services, walks, Dinners and a real social atmosphere in good company all did much to make the weekend enjoyable for all concerned.

However we must remember the reason we were there, to commemorate the worst maritime disaster of the time.
